I snowbird to Arizona for the Winter. I stay there appx 6mos.
That's the only time I use my Verizon MIFI. I have cable internet at my Calif address.
I rarely need remote internet and can easily live without it for 6mos.
In this RV park that I stay at, Verizon MIFI is the only answer to having internet.
All other methods cannot apply or are hopefully useless..
So...Is there a plan or provision to only have to pay for the 6mos that I need it?
Paying for something I don't use for 6mos is starting to get to me.
In fact, if I could get a plan that only is used for 6mos of the year, with the savings,
I might be inclined to up my account to 10gig from the 5gig I have now.
I sometimes go over that and have to pay an additional $10.
So...any help with this situation would be very helpful. Thanks

You can suspend for 90 days without billing, but keep in mind that your contract will extend by 90 days each time. You can suspend back-to-back to achieve the six months, but to avoid a partial month or prorated charges, you will have to call back to resuspend before (or on the exact day) the suspension expires.

While I am unsure of a MIFI, you can suspend a phones service for 90 days without billing at a time. You can re-suspend it 1 time after the 90 days has expired. You can do this once a year. I assume this can also be done with a MIFI.
I think you can do this thru your MyVerizon account.
Good luck.
