It's very frustrating!! The number of telemarketer calls, especially spoofed calls, far exceeds the number of legitimate calls I am getting. It's to the point where I'm not answering my phone except for numbers that I recognize, and I know I must be missing some important ones. It's obvious that illegitimate uses for spoofing far exceed legitimate ones, and you can't tell me that something can't be done about this! When is Verizon going to get serious about this?

That is frustrating, but no service provider can control that. Changing your phone number is the best way to stop that from occurring when spoofers know your number.

Verizon has nothing to do with spoofed calls and neither does any other carrier. If you want to point a finger, point it at the FCC.
