I have an Env Touch with a 16G SD card. I have a lot of music on the card and most of it the phone recognizes and plays, but some files don't show up at all in the Music function on the phone. I can see that the songs are there when I look at the files on the phone through my computer. Is this a format issue? I can't see a pattern in which formats it will and won't play so far.
I've had similiar problems on various phones. The song would display with a time of 0:01 and would not play. I used WinAmp to edi the ID3 tag of the song and once I updated it the phone recognized it correctly. So use your favorite PC media player and edit the ID3 tag to see if that fixes your issue.
The ID3 tag is the metadata that holds the songs information for: song title, artist, album etc. Sometimes updating this information will revalidate the song, so to speak.
