I have a program (unsure if I can name the program here) that notifies me of significant US and global events such as earthquakes, tsunamis, fires, extreme weather....
It requires an SMTP (outgoing). Does anyone know what SMTP I can use for Verizon Wireless? Also requires a port #, but I think that varies from phone to phone. But I have no clue as to what to input for my SMTP.

It is probably looking for a SMTP server related to an email address. Are you trying to have the alerts sent to your phone as text messages?
