So we get a big 5!! days notice that our rate may increase? AND it comes from the media? Thanks Verizon. At least with the dreaded "C" cable provider you are allowed the illusion of negotiating your rate.

You will not be forced to choose these new plans. Just like ANY TIME the pricing structure changes. You can certainly choose one of the new plans if it is beneficial for you. Just like ANY TIME the pricing structure changes.

The press release was issued on Friday August 7, 2015. The plans go in effect on Thursday August 13, 2015. That's six days actually. You are not required to change your current plan immediately.
