I am going to be travelling to Ireland in September and was wondering if my Blackberry would work there.  Would I be able to call home using my phone, and what would the charges be?

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.  I haven't travelled out of the US with a cell phone before.

What kind of Blackberry do you have? Most 8330s are Global Capable. If you're going to Ireland, the roaming charges would be $1.29/minute on a standard plan and $0.99 on a International $4.99 plan.
