It's so rare that Verizon offers a phone at a lower price, so you should feel very pleased with your purchase.
I am curious, did you get a new phone because your 2 year contract was up or did you get a new phone part way through an already existing contract?
Our contract was up over a year ago. Two of us are still using our old phones, which are working fine. But the other phone was just about dead (and was on Straight Talk) so I decided to add another line on our account because it is within our budget to pay a monthly note rather than hundreds of dollars outright.
