Received a letter from Verizon saying my account was hacked

I got an official looking letter saying my account was compromised and it was temporarily blocked. I have a Kyocera flip phone and do NOT use it for any web operations, it is not connected to any of my bank accounts etc. I never use it to shop online. I do use a different laptop to pay the bill online. I checked my account activity and did not see anything threatening. So what does this letter mean?
