Q about call forwarding

Miembro

I have a question about call forwarding. I know how to start and stop the call forwarding and I get the part about being charged minutes for the forwarded call. My question is if I receive a call from a verizon wireless customer and I have it forwarded to my home number which is in my top ten, will I still be charged for any minutes for the call.

Gracias

Verizon Employee

Thanks for the information

nightrider13,  your community leaders are correct. If you set up call forwarding on your mobile phone and have your calls sent to your home phone, each call that comes through is sent through our system and billed according to the type of call it is. If its a Verizon wireless customer, it will be mobile to mobile. If the number is listed on your friends and family, it will be no charge to your mobile account. The only charges we can not verify are to your home phone service.

I would say it would be a F&F call. A simple way to check is to forward and call your cell number and see what shows up in the usage log.

I agree with budone. Since the incoming call is a Verizon wireless number, and the forwarded call is going to a F&F number, it should all be free minutes.

If an "official" Verizon rep can confirm or contradict, please chime in!!
