Today I tried to purchase a device to add to my Verizon account. When I went to check out, the system printed a receipt without giving me an opportunity to pay for the device. I then contacted Verizon to try and pay for the device and they told me they could not help me for an hour. A couple of hours later the purchase was flagged as fraudulent and they would not release the purchase until I called. I was able to call a few hours later and they released the purchase. The representative would not tell me the reason this was flagged for fraud. Has anyone else experienced this? Were you able to find out why?
