Poor service/ need Extender

VERY disappointed in Verizon Wireless. I have been a loyal customer for many years and am now unable to receive or make calls/texts from my new home in VT. I was told by various Verizon Wireless reps that in order to receive service at this house, I need to purchase a network extender. I DO NOT think that I should have to pay for this in order to have service at my home, but I guess I don't have a choice if I keep Verizon. Representatives have notified me that there is $75 discount available, but now are telling me I have been DENIED this discount. REALLY??? I guess Verizon Wireless has NO customer loyality at all and is willing to lose customers rather than retain them. Looking into other carriers.
