Planning to get a new phone

Hi there,

  I am currently planning to get a new phone. Right now I have a friend over China who is on vacation and he asked me if I want a new phone over there. The thing is it's a GMS phone. Can I use that phone? If so, how can i activate it? Thank you very much

Unfortunately you cannot use GSM phones with Verizon Wireless. That is a different type of network technology, Verizon uses CDMA.

 

Furthermore, at this time you can only activate a Verizon Wireless branded phone. You cannot activate a phone of another CDMA carrier.
