Phone survey

I had someone reporting to be a customer service representative call me and ask for my participation in a short survey. I usually decline those, but he offered $40 off my next bill. I immediately got an automated call after I hung up with the representative asking me how the interaction with the rep went. I just want to know if this was legitimate. I haven't received a credit to my account and the call was almost a month ago.

Did you give the "rep" your username, password, or other information that would allow them to access your account?  It was likely a scam.  Change your account password, and monitor it for unauthorized changes.
