I received a call this morning from what was believed to be Verizon Customer Service, 611. He had a indian accent.
Basically they ask you to answer some questions and you will then receive a $40 credit on your bill. Questions were about call quality, etc. When he asked for my PIN I hesitated, re-checked who the call came in from, and then gave the information to him. I immediately called VZW just to make absolutely sure it was them conducting the survey. Luckily after talking to the first guy and not feeling confident in his answer (he said they were in fact conducting the survey and kept referring to a credit on my bill that was from much earlier in the month), he ended up transferring me to someone else who checked into it further, and confirmed it was, in fact, a scam. I immediately changed my PIN and passcode. Hopefully this resolves any potential problems I could have had. Next time I will just say "no thanks".
