I'm in Jamaica right now and have no service. I am able to use social media and text thru the resorts WIFI but I can't make a phone call. What am I doing wrong? Are my settings wrong? Plz help

What phone do you have.
Do you have roaming turned on?
Do you have an international plan on your account so you can use the phone internationally and you don't get hit with outrageous charges?
