A new Verizon tower was just completed about a month ago in my neighborhood. It looks to be complete, but there is no signal coming from it. Is there any way I can find out when it is scheduled to go online? The physical address of the tower is 6040 FM 363 Newton, Texas. I am hoping it will be a 4G tower. I can't find out anything about it and am very anxious to receive signal from it. The closest working tower from my location is 5.5 miles away. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Is there equipment on the tower?
Is there a generator building next to the tower?
How are you sure it is a VZW Tower?

All the equipment appears to be in place at the tower. They did not build a building, all the equipment is on a covered platform. The generator is just behind the platform. There is a fence around the tower and the equipment. I looked up the tower on the FCC licensing page and it says the owner is San Antonio MTA, L.P.

I see you did your homework! I do not believe you will find someone with the answer here. Maybe the county or city you live in who approved the buildout may know.
