I got service recently with Verizon in Nebraska on a 2 year contract but I will be moving to Ohio before the month is out. Will my service and everything still work as normal or do I need to have Verizon change my area/phone number?
It should be fine. You can change your phone number through your MyVerizon account online for free after you move if you decide to have a local number.

You can change your number but it is not necessary.Your services are nationwide. You need to make sure that you change you billing and service address.
