Moving out of country

I just have a quick question.

I am moving to Vancouver for Graduate School in August and I have the Google Pixel. I would assume that I would have to completely pay off my phone before moving up, but would I have to get a completely new phone while I'm up there? Or just get a new sim card?

Thanks in advanced.

The Pixel is SIM unlocked from the factory. You just need a local SIM card. You might also want to look at signing up for Google Fi service instead to keep your existing phone number.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
