Losing Discounts, Very Disappointed


I am very frustrated that with switching to an unlimited plan that I lost my Employer Discount. To add insult to injury I was told by a friend (Not Verizion) that there is an 8% Loyalty Discount that is offered if you do not have other applicable discounts. I signed up for Loyalty Discount, recieved my confirmation email that said wait 1-2 billing cycles. I decide to call customer service to ask why an over 10 year customer would not be told about the 8% Loyalty discount to only find out that it is not offered to Unlimited Plans. I thought a customer loyalty discount was offered to loyal customers not to plans.... I guess it may be time to take my loyalty to another carrier
