Just bought a new phone, but I already have a data plan. Upgrade necessary?

I just bought an older Blackberry Curve 8530 on ebay to replace my current phone. The phone I have is a basic phone (it's the Pantech HotShot), and I pay for the $10 data plan (75MB of data + email & ringback tones), and I have the option to upgrade to the $30-2GB data plan, which I know is the minimum for smartphones.

So my question is, is will I have to upgrade to the Share Everything plan, or can I keep the plan I have, and just upgrade to the minimum data?

Sorry if that's a bit confusing. I'm not sure how else to explain it... I can try to clarify if needed. Smiley Happy

Since you already a customer you don't have to go to share everything.

To activate a smartphone, which the blackberry, you need to go to a tier'd data pricing. $30 for 2gigs is the cheaptest i think
