unless you have the unlimited package and don't want your bill to increase I'd say it's okay to remove the insurance.

Keep extended warranty for times when updates or other software issues arise. Hardware as well, but remember that EW does not cover loss or theft, nor damage.

That is certainly up to you. Some, myself included, don't think it is wise to EVER pay for Total Mobile Protection.
For others, it could be a wise choice to ALWAYS have it depending on how you treat your phone or what you are able to afford.
