I have been using Verizon Wireless for over two year now. I'm sharing my plan with a friend's family and I'm thinking about signing my own contract. But the issue here is that my staying in US is not certain. I still don't know if I can go to graduate school or have to go home in December. If I sign the contract with Verizon now, would I be able to get out of it if the US gov doesn't allow me to stay after December? I know that AT&T has that exception policy for international students who are able to prove that their I-20 will expire at a specific date. So does Verizon have the same or similar policy??

There is no way to get out of the contract. You would be required to pay the ETF if you are required to leave the country
