My boyfriend and I have a family shared plan and just got our phones upgraded to the LG Chocolate Touch. His number is the main number on the account. We have both purchased music on our phones and I decided to install the VCAST Music with Rhapsody application on one of our home computers so we could put our music from CDs and whatnot onto our phones. I was also hoping that we could be able to access eachother's music that was already purchased on our phones. Unfortunately, i have absolutely no clue how to get the music purchased with my phone onto the media player on the computer. I know I can't transfer it via USB cable, but his music was readily available for download once I logged in, I assume because his is the main line, but mine doesn't show up at all...anywhere. Nothing purchased from my phone even shows up on our account. EVERYTHING that he has purchased from his phone does. How in the world can I get MY music onto our computer so we can BOTH use it? I appreciate ANY feedback.

You need to have a log in to My Verizon for your phone number - register and create a log in for BOTH numbers. YOu will have limited access to account information but you WILL have access to media purchased for your number.
Was your music purchased as part of the family plan? Or did you have a separate account when you purchased the music?

We've been on the same plan from day one. So, are you saying that I can register my number for it's own login on My Verizon and then I will be able to access the music when I login to VCAST Music with Rhapsody on my computer? I hope I'm not interpreting your reply incorrectly. Thanks for the help.

That is correct. However, in order for you to have access to V cast music with Rhapsody, you must have the feature on your line as well.

Well, it worked. So, I must have all the right stuff. The only other problem I was having was accessing both his music and my music at the same time, but I figured that out on my own. I think we can call it good.
