My family lives in a very rural space, and Verizon Wireless is generally the only network that will come in, and we have perfect 4G data at home. Starting yesterday, however, there has only been an x or 1x if I walk down the road. We don't have a landline or any WiFi or internet beyond our usual data, so this is very distressing. I am having to stay elsewhere just to get my work done until service is restored.
Is there any way to check the status of the trouble ticket, or a general time estimate of how long these things usually take?

If you filed a network ticket a couple of hours ago, this is nowhere near enough time for a determination or response. These are quoted at being resolved in 7-10 business days I believe....
