I visited the prepaid section of the Verizon site, went to smartphone plans, went to activate my own device, and entered the MEID of my Droid X to see if I could use it with prepaid. Now when I try it again, it says my phone is activated, but I never went through with paying for any prepaid as I just did it to see if my phone was compatible and to see the service options. This phone currently is not on a contract and is not otherwise active on Verizon's network. Will this prevent me from getting prepaid service in the future?

Nope, it activated it on a new prepaid account, if you wish to un-do this, Just dial *22890, let it program, then you can get the new telephone number assigned to it, call *611 or 8882946804 and ask them to disconnect it for you, the account security code for the account should be the last 4 digits of the new telephone number

Whenever I call one of those numbers I get an automated response without an option to disconnect. What other numbers can I call?
