I have FamilyBase, and have set my daughter's phone up with specific trusted contacts.
I want to block all calls and texts, to and from her phone EXCEPT for calls/texts to/from the trusted numbers. (Basically, only allow texts/calls from a whitelist.)
I know I can set time restrictions that will block all calls/texts except trusted; the problem is this also blocks her cellular data, which I don't want.
Any suggestions?

work around is to set the limit on the phone calls and messages to their minimal value. so maybe set them to 1 minute and 1 text a month until you're ready to lift the restrictions
as you mentioned time restrictions will stop all service and trusted contacts are able to be reached regardless of limits or time restrictions.

So, if I understand you correctly, in FamilyBase go to Controls > Usage Limits > Minutes and change it to as close to 0 as possible, and then also change Usage Limits > Messages and set that as close to 0 too?
And she'll still be able to call/text Trusted Contacts all she wants, right?

that's exactly it! I'm not sure that the Verizon site will allow a "0" value but yeah just enter in the minimum amount on each and you'll be set. just make sure you don't miss adding any trusted contacts!

absolutly useless. I need to block my grandma phone so that only family gets thru (the contact list), all others blocked on THAT phone but not othrt phones
