How can I save voicemails saved longer than 30 days?

I often save my customers voicemails longer than 30 days to refer back to. What can be done after the new voicemail service is added to retain these messages? Part of the reason I've stayed with Verizon Wireless for over 10 years was my ability to save voicemails for an unlimited amount of time. What solutions are Verizon Wireless offering for customers such as myself who save voicemails besides sending files to CBW Productions?

If you use the Basic Visual Voicemail service you can download the audio files and save them indefinitely on your computer or phone.

You can also use the third party voicemail service like Google voicemail or YouMail that lets you save the audio files.

I've only used regular Voicemail not basic visual voicemail.

If you want to save your voicemails indefinitely, you need to contact CBW Productions to save them. This is the only option.

VERIZON offers Basic VISUAL Voicemail, which allows you to download and save the audio files indefinitely.  It is included on smartphone plans. That is it for what Verizon is offering.

I gave you other alternatives (You Mail, Google Voicemail) that are free, and allow you to download and save the Voicemails indefinitely, since that seemed to be your primary concern.  Both of those services work well.

Thanks SuzyQ. I did download YouMail to both my phone and my laptop but it will only save future messages not old stored messages. I do plan to use YouMail instead of Verizon's voicemail because losing the feature to keep messages indefinitely was one of the few reasons I stayed with them.

My issue with CBW Productions is that in order to have them save messages, you have to delete any messages you don't want them to save for you otherwise they'll be saved at $5.00 each after the first one which is $10.00. Overall I'm just livid over the entire situation but I do appreciate your response and solution for future messages.

I forgot to mention that I don't think Basic Visual Voicemail works on my phone, the Nokia Lumia Icon.  I read in the Nokia Lumia Icon discussions feed in a message titled "Bye-Bye Visual Voicemail" that after the recent changes basic visual voicemail no longer works on my phone.

I'm planning on trying to save the voicemails on the Windows 10 voice recorder app using a dual mini headphone jack adapter which I hope will work.

Basic Visual Voicemail has been removed from some devices. You can do what you mentioned, it should work. It may be easier to just write the voicemail and save it in a Word Document. If it's something more personal (like a deceased family member) I would rather pay $10 to save that as it's more sentimental.
