Im sick and tired of Fed Ex. Everything I use them for they screw up. This time it happens to by my smart phone. I paid extra to have it OVERNIGHTED to me in nebraska. It initiated in memphis TN and because THEY routed it through Albuquerque NM it ran into fog and now is going to be 3 days. When I calmly tried to get my money back or any kind of remedy their customer service 5 times in a row said literally nothing except "im sorry for the inconvenience" before finally saying "have verizon request a refund from fed ex." OK, so im TALKING to fed ex, yet i have to go to verizon to request a refund from fed ex of MY MONEY and have verizon send it to me. Seriously Verizon, don't use these pieces of turd anymore. They screw up EVERYTHING they do for me. Ive NEVER had a delivery arrive on time from them and 1 out of 10 of my deliveries have some kind of defect by the time they DO arrive. I can only blame Verizon for continually using them in spite of their repeated failures and terrible customer support.

You didnt say where you are, but it could be all packages for your area stop in Albuquerque before moving on
Or maybe a storm or plan issues diverted the plane. Stuff happens

I now see ya stated where you were. Sorry
ALL FedEx overnight packages are flown. And all go through Memphis first. No exceptions, Then onto other places. Even if shipping across town. Fog can and will hold up a plane or force a plane elsewhere before a vehicle will be stopped..
My last phone to MI came from Nashville, to Memphis, to Detroit, To Grand Rapids. All in one night. Then delivered the next day.
My last package from VZW came from Atlanta, to Memphis, to Atlanta, and delivered to NW GA the next day.

Just look at this bs. I order early on thursday for OVERNIGHT and it takes 4 days like this: TN, 9 hours later in NM, 14 hours later back in f-ing TN. Can anyone spot the monumental waste of time here? Either they are retarded or LIED about it being in NM, not that it matters bc NM is literally further away from me than where it started.

Do you know how shipping works? I can tell you order it late in the day where you are at and there is a cut off time. You are still getting next day air, but you ordered past the cut off time FYI
ALL shipping companies do what you see there.

No, I did not. You are assuming and you are wrong. They had me ON SCHEDULE up until 5:00 pm friday for delivery by 4:30 Friday (yes even after the time had expired I was still "on schedule"). Obviously they wouldn't schedule for that if I came in after the cut off time. I also was very clear not once, but twice, that the reason they delayed it was because of fog allegedly. Its not like this is the first time this has happened. Every time I get stuck with FedEx they waste my time and money.

I have problems with them from time to time, but they are much better than the alternatives. I worked as a liaison with a shipping department for a rewards company, many years ago, and saw the consistency of theft with UPS (the drivers were specifically targeting our packages and would fake signatures and leave the packages). The USPS is slow and unreliable as well. Fedex is generally trustworthy, but, in light of the alternatives, they are the lesser of evils.
