I got a flyer that said "for a limited time trade-in any smart phone and get $100 off a new smart phone. ” I called Verizon directly and they didn't know what I was talking about. This morning I called the local Verizon store and they told me I wasn't qualified was qualified for edge in March. I informed them that I was not interested the edge program that I would pay for it directly period. They repeated that I was not yet qualified for the edge program but if I wanted to wait until March I Would be. It was then inferred that I was not smart enough to understand the program. Being a 13 year customer of Verizon I don't appreciate that remark. My question is is there a trade-in program are you get a better mobile hundred dollars off a new smart phone or not?

They do have a trade in program, but you have to be eligible for an upgrade since it requires a new 2 year agreement. Also the $100 minimum is for iPhones only.
On a seperate note, I would highly recommend not using the trade-in program. There are many threads on the forum that talk about all the horror stories with the program.
The link for the trade-in program is below.
Good Luck
