Facebook SMS text verification code not being recieved. Locked out.

I changed my facebook password for security reasons. I logged out of all devices. When I went to log back in it asked for a verification code that would be sent to me via SMS text. Well, I never got that text. I tried to have them resend it multiple times and now I get an error that says I have requested too many codes and to try back later. I've waited and waited and still get the same thing and no code is sent to my phone. So I am locked out of my FB account. I cannot get a code anywhere else because I logged out of all devices. This text code is the only way in and I'm not receiving it. I have read other posts that says it's the carrier's (Verizon) fault. Has anybody else ran into this with Verizon? What was the solution? This is very frustrating. FB has zero customer support. There is no phone number to contact them. I've tried multiple times sending help requests to FB with zero response.

If you haven't recently moved your number, try these tips: Contact your mobile service provider to make sure you're sending a text message (SMS) to the right number. Remove any signatures at the end of your text messages which can interfere with Facebook

getting those messages. Try sending On or Fb to 32665 (FBOOK)

We want you to be able to get into your Facebook asap! Have you come across issues with any other text messages (Ex: basic texts, picture messages, group messages)? Have you been able to receive short code messages from other companies?

I have the same issue. It started doing this to me on Sunday June 23rd. It's now 11pm the 24th

On Friday 7/5/2019 I was asked by Facebook to verify my account via SMS txt message code.

Code was never received after numerous attempts over the past five days.

Yep, same exact thing is happening to me, July 2019.  Facebook says they send me text codes to verify my account, but I haven't recieved one.  Yes, I do have Verizon.  If you try too many times you get completely shut down by FB for 24 hours.  I don't even know why Facebook locked me out, didn't break any rules, they didn't even send me an e mail to notify me.  Can't get answers anywhere.
