Emailing Customer Service or alternative contact options?

I really need to email someone in corporate customer service.  Someone with Authority to take action on an insurance issue that I have been unable to get Asurion and Verizon to take care of.  It is lengthy and should be embarrasing to Both.  I do not wish to broadcast it on twitter or facebook.  There must be an alternate option of contact when Phone contact is unsuccessful.  Thanks in advance for any advice.
