I've been living in my apartment near the corner of 43rd ave and Crescent Street in Long Island City NY, 11101 for about 2 years. Until recently my phone and the reception were fine. In the past few weeks, I've been completely unable to have a phone conversation. I have an iphone 5c. I can use the internet, but it won't work as a phone.
All calls fail or are quickly dropped after a few sentences. Whatever's wrong, it isn't just my phone. My wife also has a verizon phone that is experiencing the same problem.
I have no idea what to do about this. Tried to call customer service but..... don't have a working phone.
You will need to call them from a landline or a different cell anyway. Why not go to someone's home or do it at work?

First let's check for any issues in the area, please provide your apartments ZIP code. Also, how many signal bars/circles on your screen when you drop calls? Does service improve outside your apartment? What is your current iOS version?

Service does improve outside apartment.
