I am moving to Japan in August. Does Verizon offer phone plans in Japan? I would like to keep Verizon because I love you guys but I don't want to keep it if you only offer limited international plans. For example is it possible to get Verizon in Japan with a Japan phone number?

Verizon doesn't offer service in Japan. You'll need to use a provider such as NTT or SoftBank which operates in the country.
If you would like to keep your US phone number, however, port the number over to a VoIP provider such as Google Voice. This will allow you to keep the US number while in Japan, and the number can be accessed from a computer or phone running a SIP/VoIP app.

No. Verizon Wireless doesn't have any plans for Japan.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
