Verizon doesn't seem to be customer friendly anymore. I get a phone call within days of my account being past due. I am sad to see a company like Verizon find it more important to hound customers for their payment rather than being concerned about how content the customers are. I have to start shopping around for a different cellphone company. Maybe this is the reason the guy that was in all their commercials went to AT&T.
Are you consistent past due each month? Have you tried to figure out how to not be paying the bill late?

With any company, when an account is past due, the collection treatment begins, which does include calls, messages, and emails as reminders the payment is due. Don't eat the steak if you don't want to pay the bill. The attitude of taking services or goods only to pay late or not at all is appalling. If you use the service, you are required to pay for it.
That guy went to Sprint, not AT&T -- the same company that claims to be 99% as good which actually translates to around 2 million customers are getting dropped calls.
Verizon doesn't send agents to call customers for being a few days late -- you get text alerts. Never received a call for being late from either an agent or automated system. If your calls are automated, that wouldn't change from another carrier. Your account has to be in serious past due status to be subject to aggressive collection activity.
