How much will it cost to cancel my current contract which is slated to end in 2/14 and still keep my current phone #?
The cost is dependent on what device you use. If a simple no smartphone its $175 With $5 off per month for 24 months.
If you have a smart phone its $350 With $10 off for 24 months of your contract.
Your line of service must not be canceled and must be active in order to port your number and keep it.
If you cancel service you lose your number. I would just wait until February 2014 so as not pay any portion of an early termination fee and service costs.
