Contemplating changing carriers

We have everything Verizon but recently have been disappointed in the service/ broken promises. A few months ago we had a problem with our son's phone and Verizon was not willing to help. My son has since gone to another carrier and is very happy --paying less for equal service. I was promised a call back from the supervisor to help me change our service and pay a lot less but the call never came. I spoke with a rep yesterday and he walked me through some changes that will have me paying nearly $100  less per month. We'll see if that is REALLY the case. I am due for an "upgrade" in February and have begun to research my options with other carriers. I really hope that I can switch. I feel that Verizon has gotten so big that they feel individual customers are dispensable as evidenced by some of the responses I have read. I am disappointed in Verizon b/c we have been customers for a LONG time but no one likes to feel taken for granted.

I don't understand. They offered you a plan that fits your needs, is almost $100 less per month they are taking you for granted?

We'll see if there's a catch or if I really end up with a savings. They

have made promises before.
