yes I've tried uninstalling and re-installing multiple times, the same story. It comes up, complains it can't connect again. Just out of curiosity, I still have the Backup Assistant Plus account on my phone. Could that have anything to do with it ? it's only backing up the contacts...
But no, overall the Cloud isn't working.
Thank you for the information! That is a possibility! Lets try this go to settings > applications > manage applications > Backup Assistant > clear cache/force stop. Try to back up with the Cloud again.

This also worked for me, and thankfully after the update it is still working. Now my Back-up Assistant is making my life difficult. I am going to find something else to back up my contacts. Been fighting with it for months, and now it's worse. It completely deleted some numbers this morning so I am officially done.
