Charging the VZ 2200 HotSpot

I'm fairly new to the Mobile Intelligent HotSpot Device. LOVE it so far. Use it mostly at home.

QUESTION: Can I leave the device "plugged in" to the wall charger?  :smileyindifferent:

I don't like having to baby sit it and watch for the red blinking LED to know when to charge it. Not always in that room. Use 2 laptops on & off during the day.  Does ANYONE know if this would damage the battery?  Overheat the device?  Or should I just keep it near the laptop to "watch its' state of charge?"  THANKS.

It's a very cool device. Love it so far and it has plenty of speed for me.............. RB

Thanks BL85. That's what I suspected. Guess I'll keep the 2200 nearby. Just wondered because I keep my DELL laptop plugged in most of the time. It seems OK that way.

I went with VZ 2200  because we've had wonderful service from VZ and I despise AT&T. Tried to "upgrade" my internet service and they ruined my connection (NO INTERNET),  Didn't show up for an install AND never called me + overcharged me! Hard to believe they can do business that way. :smileymad:

Anytime you over charge a device, it damages the battery.
