Cannot call Ooma number from Verizon phone

I cannot seem to call my Ooma number from my Verizon wireless phone nor can I talk to ANYONE at Verizon as they all seem to be busy.

I can call it from a Sprint phone and other landline phones but not from Verizon wireless. This is happening in Omaha, not sure if it is happening elsewhere.
