To cancel service or remove a line permanently: Call Customer Service at (800) 3[phone number removed per the Verizon Terms of Service], (Mon – Fri, 7 AM - 9 PM, Sat – Sun, 8 AM – 9 PM local time).
From Suspend Service FAQs
Since the word filter is removing the phone number, it's:
800
392
0717

I knew Verizon's online support was bad, but not this bad. Kinda makes me want to cancel out of incompetence. Unless that's a not so subtle way of getting people to dial [phone number removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] instead, I'm at a loss for words at Verizon censoring their own number to disconnect service.
Edit: hahaha wow, it did the same to their national customer service number. Whoever thought censoring their own numbers is an blockhead.
Edit 2: Blockhead? Whoever is in charge of the forums must have a nice shovel, keep on digging. Not sure if I should be offended at how childish the forum is.
