Can't change forum account's email address. Please Help.

Even if I go to to profile and select edit profile & privacy, it won't let me change the email address.

Did you add your First and last name??? That is now required if changing the email address

No, if you want to change your email, and you did not enter your name when you initially signed up, you are now required to add it before you hit save.

Sorry to reactivate an old thread, but I am having problems.  I don't have my first and last name but I cannot add it either.  When I click on edit, there are no text fields for me to add them

Is your forum account tied to your MyVerizon account or a community only account?

Thanks, good question! I have both but to my surprise it looks as though they are linked (I was logged in to forums and was able to get to My Usage.)  However, the email address under My Verizon is correct.  I see an Unlink option.  Should I do that?

Edit: No, I see link combines VzW and Residential.

Is the email address associated with your MyVerizon account online the one you want associated with the forum account? t Unfortunately I don't know much about how the two accounts are linked and what can be changed to reflect in each other.

I use a community only ID for the reason of keeping the two accounts separate. Considering I have had two MyVerizon accounts since I started on this community, it was a good idea to do so.

I have exactly the same problem as yours.  I accidentally entered wrong email address.  I can't edit the profile to change it.  Has your worked?  If so, please let me know what you did.
