Can Verizon save the day?

I have a family plan of 4 lines, everything has worked out fine until our lovely old iphones have been eating away the battery. I'm planning on early terminating two of the lines, because it would be the same as paying for an upgrade. Anyone with experience from Verizon trying to keep loyal customer and work something out? I'm eligible for an upgrade this year.

What is Verizon supposed to do? Even if Verizon was willing to let you have an early upgrade Apples states no early upgrades for Apple products. You're not loyal if your willing to leave if you don't get you way. I suggest getting a dictionary.

Thanks Jroder, i have called before. I even called immediately after paying my $300 bill and i spoke to a very nice rep, but she guided me to the store and told me they could get me and my wife upgrades to keeps us with Verizon. Once at the store, i was told absolutely not. That they i had to return to work, otherwise i would have just paid the $780 to early terminate all lines. Pretty bummed out that all other carriers make an attempt to keep good customers on board, but have yet to see anything coming from  VZW.

Yeah, unfortunately Apple won't let Verizon early-upgrade those lines, because Apple will lose money. It is what it is I guess.

Unfortunately you are going to have to buy new phones outright at full price because you won't get the upgrade.

Good Luck whatever you decide to do Smiley Happy

I really don't want to see you leave us over this!  I'm sure we can provide you with some great options.

What model iPhone do you have?  When did you purchase your iPhone(s)?  What exactly are you experiencing with them?  Do either have any physical or liquid damages?  Please let me know so I can further assist.  Thanks!

All 4 lines are iphones.

Mine is a 4s, and the rest are 4's.

I have contacted the manufacturer but im outside of their 1 year limited warranty, and they claim that battery issues are due to just my overall usage. The phone does not have accidental damage, i purchased my phone in Ocotber 2012. The biggest issue is email synchronization and battery lasting. I have two work email accounts, and a personal email. According to the tech support experts, data fetching is draining my battery significantly. The phone my wife has goes from 100% to 75 percent in around 10-15 minutes. It is smaller stuff, and definitely making me look as if im whining. I want to upgrade our phones, but if i already have a contract with you guys, i wanted to see if there are any possible "wow" factors to keeping me as a customer. I am fully aware of T-Mobile's incentive to dragging customer's over, but i like your service, and that hasn't been a complain. Really not asking for much here, i can me and my wife and upgrade, you guys have us locked with for another 2 years, with 4 phone lines. Ball back in your court...

You haven't brought your first phone yet and are looking for another...seems strange

Have you thought about doing a wipe?  Depending on work related emails maybe change the setting to every hour..

You'll find verizon is no different than any other company when It comes to existing customers, very little promotions

I have backed up, restore to factory settings and setting up device as new. My career revolves around computing/mobile technology. Sat and explain the reoccuring issues to an apple family room specialist, and due to the warranty being expired, a replacement will cost me 150 dollars for them to give me a refurbised replacement device. I've had thisPhone for almost two entire years, if asking the company that i pay my phone service to for an upgrade is an inconvience, then customer service representatives would not have jobs. Im not demanding it, i just know that paying for an upgrade full price will add up, and paying the early termination fee could potentially be cheaper. I know this is all community based, but taking the time to come in here and lie about my service is just not what im trying to do. If spoken to their customer support reps, ive spoken to verizon store reps, all fairly polite but adamant that iphones can not be upgraded.
