When calls do go through they disconnect right away or I receive a recording to contact customer service. It took 8 attempts to get the phone to connect via *611 and when I got through I received a recording stating there are service problems. What the heck is going on and how long is this going to last?

No doubt...Thanks Verizon for not even sending me an email or text or anything letting me know that your BIGGEST NETWORK would be down....COSTING ME MONEY>>>>Going to AT&T to check out plans now....
