Call Forward Activate Codes

I want to verify that I have the correct codes to activate and deactivate Call Forward No Answer and Call Forward Busy Line from my VZW cell phone.  This is what I have:

Call Forward No Answer

Activate:  *92 + Phone Number + Send

Deactivate:  *920 + Send

Call Forward Busy Line

Activate:  *90 + Phone Number + Send

Deactivate:  *900 + Send

Is this correct?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply but that doesn't help.  That information is for regular call forwarding.  My question is about "Call Forward No Answer" and "Call Forward Busy Line."

I apologize for that:

Call foward no answer: *72

Call foward busy line:   *72

*73 turns it off

Sorry will read better next time

I must admit I could not find it on www.verizonwireless.com I called customer care :smileyhappy:

*72 activates regular (immediate) call forwarding.  *73 deactivates.

I'm looking for Call Forward No Answer and Call Forward Busy Line.

I can tell you that most VZW customer service reps have never even heard of either feature let alone know the codes.

It appears the codes for Busy are:  *90 + 10D + Send to activate.  *900 + Send to deactivate.

*71 + 10D + Send activates BOTH features.  *73 deactivates both.

What I am missing is the codes for Call Forward No Answer by itself.

Well, I am stumped I can't find it on the site  Obviously customer care gave me the wrong answer though I was pretty sure that was right. Maybe an admin can jump in on this one. Or call customer care and talk to tech. Sorry I went straight to the source and this was answer I was given.

Grim, your Verizon rep brainwashing is showing. This is why I don't go on vacation from the forums.

The No Answer transfer is the same as a Busy transfer. It's the same code for both.

It's *71 + 10Digits then Send.

*73 deactivates ALL call forwarding..including immediate call forwarding. There is a special code to deactivate just the No Answer/Busy one, but I can't seem to recall it at this time. I will have an exact answer for you in less than 12 hours.

And yes, it can be found on vzw.com here: http://support.vzw.com/features/calling_features/no_answer_transfer.html

Much to learn you have young grasshopper.

Okay, as promised, everything you need to know about call forwarding codes.

Specifically for No Answer Transfer it's *71 + # then SEND.

For Busy Transfer only it's *90 + # then SEND

To turn off only the Busy Transfer it's *900 + SEND

*73 will deactivate ALL call forward (immediate, no answer, busy)

Now, in some west area markets there is not seperate functionality for the No Answer/Busy transfer, in which case the same code is used for both; *71.

Those west area markets are:

Bakersfield/Fresno

Pleasanton

San Francisco

Santa Clara

Waipahu

Boise

Albuquerque

Portland

Salt Lake City

Spokane

Hope this clears everything up once and for all.
