Hi V. User
so I broke My phone just last night. My 1 yr warrant was over now I'M in the idea of maybe buying a new phone at full retail price or maybe just Cancel My line and pay that 110 dollar Fee since it been 1 yr and I think 1 or 2 month since I got the phone, or I can wait till 12/4/2009 till I'm eligible to upgrade which is in 7 month. If IM not wrong the Cancel. Fee is 175 dollar and drop 5 dollar every month right?
Is there any cheap phone from 60 dollar and lower? I'm just trying to wait till my 2 yr contact is over and cancel with Verizon.
If i was to upgrade will there be a activation fee on the new phone?
im tired of calling Verizon help desk.
THANKS

Yes, you are right about the cancelation fee going down 5 dollars per month
I think there is one you can get for 60-70 dollars. Just click the upgrade option button on your My Verizon thing. It will allow you to view the prices of the phones.
Yes, there will be an activation fee on your new device.

ABL,
iphone was correct about the variable ETF, However,
activation fees are ONLY for new lines of service. If you get a different phone from certain online auction sites that are not allowed to be mentioned here(hint, hint) then once you get it as long as it is compatible with Verizon technology you can have the phone activated and keep the same plan and stuff, just change the actual phone itself.
Hope this helps!

eBay is a great place for finding new/used phones at pretty good prices with no strings attached.

Luke,
Its not that I'm 'scared' to say it...I was just under the belief that we arent allowed to mention other site addresses because of the the terms of the forum.
ARE we actually allowed to mention sites without getting penalized for them? b/c what i understood from the user agreement was that we couldnt.
