I have a blackberry and I went into the Verizon store. I stated I needed a sim card for my new Samsung Galaxy S 5 to make my phone that I purchased off of Ebay work on my wifi. The Verizon Rep said she could get me a SIM card. I specifically asked by doing this will it affect my plan and she said NO. As we were talking I asked if I could use both phones on my line and she said YES. I again asked would it change my plan and again she said NO. I said I may use the cool new phone on the weekends are you sure this is not going to affect my plan and again she said NO. So I said go ahead and activate the SIM card. Then she text me and said I can save you $100 on your plan. I said I was happy with my plan. (Unlimited data plan) Then I get home and check my plan on line and I now have 2 GB of data. I immediately called customer service and complained. They put in some form to get me back my unlimited data. I then went to the store and they verified that I was to get my unlimited data back. 2 weeks later and I am still screwing with Verizon to get my unlimited data back. No one called to say I was denied for my request for my unlimited data. I was lied to and Verizon is now in Breach of Contract due to their employee lied to me. Verizon is being unethical and I think it is time I get a lawyer involved. There does not seem to be any loyalty from Verizon to it's customers. Can I get any help on here or should I just go to T-Mobile?

IDK why you had to have a SIM for WiFi, but ok. Yes, you CAN use both on the line, but not at the same time. One has to be deactivated and one active. I still don't get how Verizon can make these changes without a signature. I know I have changed my plan (to my benefit) online or over the phone before and I was never sent anything to sign, only saw the document in My Verizon. I cannot completely agree with the practice of plan changes without a signature.

Nothing but your trust was breached here. Unlimited data is not a contract to start with....
Direct from your Contract:
"This agreement and the documents it incorporates form the entire agreement between us. You can't rely on any other documents, or on what's said by any Sales or Customer Service Representatives, and you have no other rights regarding Service or this agreement. This agreement isn't for the benefit of any third party except our parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and predecessors and successors in interest. Except where we've agreed otherwise elsewhere in this agreement, this agreement and any disputes covered by it are governed by federal law and the laws of the state encompassing the area code of your wireless phone number when you accepted this agreement, without regard to the conflicts of laws and rules of that state."

Unlimited data is a feature on a line of service and a promotion which can be changed at any time. It seems like niw any change to your account will make this feature fall off. Your loss bud. But it's not a breach of anything.

Of course wireless phones and contrats are their business not my line of expertise. So I feel lied too and evidently 3 of their other reps do to since they have willingly submitted a form to get my unlimited data returned to me. It is OK I have been checking out Sprint and T-mobile. I see on Sprint site they give the unlimited plan back to their customers and it is cheaper than the $250 that I am currently paying Verizon. I really don't care who takes my money just so I get what I want which was unlimited data. Great eye opener.

I just moved over to TMob for the $80 unlimited 4G plan with an unlocked phone I bought upfront and I'm very, *very* happy so far. Sure some buildings are worse than others for signal because of the spectrum difference between the carriers but 98% of the time I can't tell a difference from my previous VZ service.
I don't know why I didn't do this as soon as my contract ended. VZ is fully retarded for thinking they're above having to offer such a thing to stay competitive too. People like me eventually get fed up with artificially imposed data caps and will go elsewhere and not come back. Know I won't.
