Is it possible to move from my current contract to Edge (outside of waiting for my upgrade to come around)? I'm 6 months away from upgrade so I'm doubtful, but here's hoping. The whole point being to go from an iphonse 5s to iphone 6 Plus. Like I said, I'm doubtful, but it'd be great if this were a possible.
It's called "Early Edge" and if I were you I'd wait. In order to do Early Edge (assuming it's still being offered?) you have to give them your current WORKING iPhone 5s and it has to be the phone you bought when you signed on for the 2 year agreement.
The catch is that the iPhone 5s gets mailed in. Loads of people have come on here saying they mailed back a working device, received a confirmation and then also got a bill saying "sorry we didn't get your device, now you owe us an additional $299" which on occasion has taken months to get fixed.
If you wait 6 months you can 1) Keep your iPhone 5s and sell it yourself 2) Not have to worry that you might get an additional $299 charge
