I called Verizon wireless on 05/02/2015 to file a complaint about my service in certain area. After explaining the representative the issue he told me he'll call me back, but never got back to me. I was under impression he submitted ticket to tech support, but to my surprise I found out that ticket wasn't submitted when I called back on 05/08/2015. I talked to the representative, explained the situation again. He text me the ticket # and I was told the issue would be resolved by mid of next week. I got a few texts from Verizon that they are still working on the issue, last text was received on 05/11/2015. It said: " The review of you reported service issue (ticket #) is nearly complete. Please allow 24-48 hours for next update.
That was the last update about the service issue I reported. I called today to follow up on this and was told the ticket is closed. It's nice for them to keep the customer in the loop (sarcasm). Finally I got a technical supervisor on the phone and he told me that there is nothing they can do since the service is very marginal for this area. By the way the area is in Brooklyn Brighton Beach 4th Avenue near the water a very busy location. The only solution he can offer is to release me from the contract, even though I have only one or two months left on it. He didn't even offer reimbursement for the months we experience service issues in that area. At least they could have offered some discounts from 05/02/2015 to 05/18/2015. In his defense I was told I am a valued customer and they thanking me for my business. I felt so much better after that (not really). After being with Verizon for more than 6 years I'll be moving to another company. I'd like to "thank you" Verizon for doing the right thing and treating your customers with the respect.
