With your story, one would tend to wonder WHY you signed up with Verizon if you were not going to get a LOWER bill with Verizon over T-Mobile AND you "could count on TMOBILE". i agree completely! in fact, i'm paying the early disconnection fee just to be free of these assholes! this whole double you data at same low price is a scam, spread the word, all they're doing is hiding hidden charges. i tried it and this is what i got.

as u can see, they lied, my more everything 4GB is still available, they just say it isnt bcuz i'm paying $40 and the new plan is $60. so my choices are to stay at $40 dollars i have to lose half my data to 2GB, if i stay at 4GB it will cost $$60, or if i want to "double my data at same low price" 8GB it will cost me $85. how is that "same low price" it would more than double what i'm paying now.

You have a lower cost plan to begin with - why would you want to change? The $40/4GB was a special offer and is NOT available any longer. If you want to give it up and pay more I'm sure Verizon would love to have your money - but what the heck are you complaining about? The double the data promotion was not intended to cover every plan getting double data, and it was not based on the pricing you posted.
You don't have to switch to a higher plan. If you are on a 4GB plan for $40 you can keep it. If you change it to any other plan you will not get it back. I snagged up the 30GB plan when it was available. I will not give it up.
yes i know that. my point being, the ad says "stay with us and double your data for the same low price!" if i stay and double my data, my bill would go from $40 to $85, that more than doubles the price, the price does not stay the same. Because they changed the price of the plans, they can say your plan no longer exist and therefor u aren't eligible. when in fact, they do still exist, they just cost more.
Where does it say double your data? They haven't used that term in promotions since October. And yes, your plan is no longer available. They 4GB for $40 plan is no longer available. Nowhere does it say the that 4GB plan is no longer available. I still don't understand why you are upset and what your hidden charges are. If you are getting 4GB for $40 then you're getting a good deal. But if you think you can get something cheaper somewhere else then, in the famous words of Roy Roger, "Happy Trails".

That isn't a promotional plan... you are on a promotional plan... there IS a difference. If you had the 8GB promotional plan you'd still be complaining probably... anyway good luck.
