I recently had a really bad user experience at a verizon store and when I got the call just now, asking if i wanted to do their automated survey, I jumped at the opportunity.
The number they supplied (in my voice mail, and yes i double checked it) is 866-840-2639... and this number is not correct. Turned out to be some automated American Express thing.
You cannot call back the automated survey number. It is simply a survey processor and not a callback number to the actual Verizon Wireless.
